What's wrong with this picture?
"Set" refers to the movie that is being filmed at Doyle's, which I now think of as the second most famous bar in Boston.

MBTA appears confused
The MBTA seems to have some (outdated) Orange Line cars that still show the Green E Line going to Arborway. That must confuse the hell out of the tourists and new students.

Not so neighborly
I think one of the neighbors is watching porn and it's REALLY LOUD. That's the only thing that could explain the moaning with bad music in the background.
Since when is the allure of pornography the way it sounds?
And while I'm venting, someone needs to tell the kids in this building that the hallways and staircases are not a playground. And being indoors means using your indoor voices. (Writing that last sentence made me feel way older than I actually am.)

Gay discrimination in JP
Yes, it even happens in JP.
The Jamaica Plain Gazette has an article about an incident that I haven't seen covered anywhere else. It seems a lesbian couple was refused service in a JP convenience store, which, in addition to being bad customer service, is apparently violates the state's anti-discrimnation law.
I guess not all men like seeing real life lesbians. And how did he know what lesbians 'act' like in porno tapes anyway?

"... Rodrigues said she was standing in line behind Perez, with her hands on Perez’s hips, while the latter swayed to the music playing on the Tedeschi’s sound system.
.... told the couple they were acting like they were in a “videotape pornography film” and said he would not serve them, according to Rodrigues."

Fresh wounds
While driving back from work, I arrived on this gristly scene not long after the cops, EMTs, and paramedics. I took the picture while waiting for the authorities to decide whether to re-route the traffic that was quickly accumulating on this 2 lane road. I figured I was waiting because of some sort of accident, but didn't see any mangled cars. I did not expect to see what I did after being waved through the intersection.
Right behind the car with its door ajar, there was a mangled motorcycle and a pool of deep red, slick and shiny liquid. Fresh blood.
I don't know what became of the motorcyclist, but I hope that s/he survived.
UPDATE:
Sadly, I've since found out that the motorcyclist did not make it.

Please excuse the dust
Spend today among the lords and ladies at King Richard's Faire in Carver enjoying the jousting, falconry, and assorted people in costume. While it wasn't terribly windy, that place is a giant dustbowl, which makes some of the pictures look hazy.
